What do you get when you combine amazing wine, tasty food, and exhibitors from around Washington state? If you’re lucky and you’re in Spokane, you get Vintage Spokane, one of the biggest ‘wine and food’ events of the year!
Held outside at Northern Quest Casino on Sunday, August 4th, Vintage Spokane featured around 50 wineries from around the state, including Yakima Valley, Walla Walla, Puget Sound, and Columbia Valley. They also had hard cider, beer, and cigar offerings for those that were interested.
What would an amazing event be without tasty food and other items available? Luckily no one at this event had to find out. There were a variety of finger foods to sample, such as seared Ahi, bite-size Huckleberry cheesecake, delicious and fragrant cheese, buffalo chicken wraps, and assorted seafood.
Even THAT wasn’t all to Vintage Spokane. Chefs braved the hot sun (cause it was toasty out there folks) to give cooking demonstrations and those lucky enough to be watching were invited to taste their creations when they finished.
A great time was definitely had by all in attendance. There was much laughing, chatting, drinking, and eating throughout the four hour event. Luckily for those that missed out this year, Vintage Spokane is an annual party so they can mark their calendars to attend next summer.
